Digitization in building construction efficiency potential for planning and construction processes

The first buildings of the Fraunhofer IBP were scanned and digitized by NUCE Consulting GmbH and PLANxD

Measurable 3D scans in conjunction with 360° images builds the data foundation for web-based virtual inspections. Through this workflow maintenance work can be digitally prepared and communicated in advance, without having to carry out an on-site visit. The goal is to set up demonstrators in cooperation with various industrial partners.Testing the operational added value by collecting figures, data and facts on the one side and to enrich the operating model to increase efficiency with additional information.

This generates a living building model, which is of significant importance for the operation of the building. The constant changes in the building are permanently digitally adjusted, which in reality are carried out continuously.
